Cities all around the world hosted the second edition of the Italian Design Day, which brought “ambassadors” of Italian culture worldwide to discuss the relationship between design and sustainability, anticipating the theme of the 22nd Milan Triennale, scheduled for 2019. We had the chance to interview one of the guest of honors in LA, Roman artist and architect Massimo Catalani.

The second edition of Italian Design Day is from March 1 through March 8 focusing on the relationship between design and sustainability. Held at the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, there will be presentations, the opening of an art exhibit, an inciteful panel discussion, and an award ceremony to celebrate the event. Special guests include, architect and artist Massimo Catalani, the ambassador of the 2018 Design Day, and artists Andrea Capellino and Valerio Berruti.
