  • Turning Twenty. My Name is Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò
The founder of New York University’s “Casa Italiana”, home to the Department of Italian Studies at NYU, passed away on October 18 at age 89. Baroness Zerilli-Marimò was a real mentor for anyone involved in promoting Italian culture in the US. Full of sadness for the loss we invite you to watch one of the many works we realized with her. In 2010, the Casa Italiana celebrated its 20th anniversary. In that occasion i-Italy produced the official video for the celebration. In the video Isabella Rossellini lends her voice to the building as it tells the story of its initial splendor, its abandonment and then its rebirth thanks to Baroness Zerilli-Marimò.
